Thank you for another fine QSO. It is always a pleasure to hear your quality audio on the bands. The pictures of Gaby sent by email are especially appreciated. Kind regards, Victor 2m0jvr. |

Hello there Gerald, Thank you for the recording, I didn't realise that I Ummed and Arrrghed quite so much. I'll need to work on that. Also, I can hear that I am very close to the microphone, but my modulation is very clear and readable so I am happy.
It was very nice speaking with you. I understand that you have Tinitus and that the 7600 is the best sounding radio for your ears. I am partly deaf, thanks to years of working in the clubs with loud music and I didn't start to wear ear protection until it was too late. The FTdx1200 has a very good sound and it is even better when I use my Bose noise cancelling headphones. The only problem is I cannot hear myself talk. You have given me the idea of using the Monitor function.
Anyway, I hope to catch you on the bands again, you are a rare breed, someone who likes a chat and not just 5 n 9, so I congratulate you again.
All the best and 73 , best wishes to you and yours,
Christian M6THQ |
