Hi Gerald.... What a great surprise and many many thanks for the recording! We moved house two years ago and I had to give up my A3S beam and tower for a half sized G5RV! Not such a good antenna and today I was trying to get it to work correctly... OK on 40m but high SWR on 20m..a puzzle!?? Thanks again and best wishes 73

Hi Gerald thanks for the recording and very nice qso you have a great station.

main interests here are data modes and contesting (VHF/HF.)

My station sounded great on the recording,

Just need to get a bit more hight on the Doublet in the centre to improve its DX performance.

I also have a delta loop for 18 to 30 Mhz and busy working on building a MOXON for the VHF Bands.

I lived and worked in Germany just over the border from Venlo for 4 years from 1967 to 1971 when I was in the British Army Signals Corps employed as a Data Telegraphist.

Worked at bases in Holland and Belgium during my service.

73 all the best to you and yours hope to work you again some time on other modes bands.
